What We Do

  • We bring fun, informative, and hands-on programs to schools, camps, and communities to engage kids and their families in healthy cooking. We teach plant-centric, affordable recipes that kids like. Through these programs, kids and families receive the cooking skills and resources they need to confidently adopt healthy eating habits.

  • We work with schools to add more healthy, plant-centric meals to their menus.

  • We seek to transform the food landscape to make healthy eating an accessible and affordable option, regardless of where you live.

  • We collaborate! We partner with schools, child care centers, after school programs and other organizations to bring our programs to kids and families.

After School Cooking Classes

These classes teach kids how to cook using a variety of recipes that employ different tools and methods. Kids build confidence and independence, while expanding their taste, preference, and familiarity with veggie filled food. They learn how to safely use a knife, cook on a stovetop, and become familiar with kitchen equipment that makes healthy eating easier, including a food processor, high speed blender, and pressure cooker. We teach the value of eating a wide variety of plant foods, like vegetables, whole grains, fruits, and legumes.
